Welcome to BattleRO - ToS & Rules
If this is your first time reading the rules, take the time to read them thoroughly. By downloading our patch, connecting to our server, or participating in our community in any way, you unconditionally agree to ALL areas covered by this document, regardless of your ability to understand/interpret them.
Equipment/Item Lending or Sharing
Any form of equipment/item sharing between players is strongly discouraged by the administration. If you choose to share your equipment/items, you assume full responsibility for what happens to them and your accounts. If the person to whom you lend your equipment/items is banned after borrowing them or does not return them, the administration is not obligated to recover your items. If you receive items from a player evading a ban, you will be punished for aiding ban evasion, regardless of whether you were aware of the punishment (more details are available in the rule regarding ban evasion).
Account Sharing
Account sharing is strongly discouraged by the administration. If you share accounts with a player who is evading a ban, all your accounts and IP addresses will be permanently blocked. If you share accounts with someone (or regularly log into their accounts) and they are banned, you also risk having your accounts banned. Similarly, if you are banned, someone sharing your accounts also risks being banned.
Filing Reports
A player may file a report against someone violating a rule. For a report to be valid, the reporter must be directly involved in the incident, except in cases where the rule violation is not directed at any specific user.
The deadline for filing reports with screenshots is 5 days from the date the screenshot was taken; otherwise, it will be invalidated. Screenshots taken in-game must include the Ragnarok 4K logo, date, and time, and must not be edited.
Replays with a maximum duration of 30 minutes will be accepted.
Recordings made using external software (e.g., Bandicam, Fraps, OBS, etc.) will only be accepted if hosted on third-party websites (e.g., YouTube).
Report Reassessment
The defendant in a report process may request reassessment of the report if new facts and/or solid arguments are presented proving no violation of the rules occurred. Reassessment requests may be made only once for a specific process.
If a player makes repeated reassessment requests, they will receive a warning. If they persist, they will face a five-day penalty in addition to their previous punishment.
Aggressive posts or those undermining the work of the STAFF will be subject to penalties as outlined in item 2.
Recurrence
The minimum time difference between reports used to request a recurrence is 1 day.
Ban Evasion
Once you are banned from the server, you are not allowed to create new accounts or access/play on the server by any means. This includes: creating new accounts, hiding items in alternate accounts/clan storage, giving items to other players or asking them to "hold" items for you, borrowing/sharing someone else's account, or any other means of ban evasion.
Aiding Ban Evasion
This includes, but is not limited to: holding items/equipment for banned players, receiving items/equipment from someone about to be banned, lending or sharing items/equipment with a banned player (knowingly or unknowingly), allowing a banned player to access or use your accounts in any way, or any other action that helps a banned player evade their ban.
Since players should not lend their equipment to anyone or share their accounts, if you assist a banned player—whether or not you know they are banned—it does not matter. Your account and items are your responsibility, and you will be held accountable.
